Retreat, Villa Arniano Tuscany

3-7 October 2024

Hosted by Alba Community

Claudia and Stephanie invite you to spend a long weekend reconnecting with yourself, expanding your community, and finding peace in nature. We have carefully curated the perfect long weekend to help you relax while spending time asking yourself what you truly want and uncovering the things that are holding you back, transforming both your inner and outer world. Our retreat is designed to leave you with a renewed sense of purpose.

We will be joined by the incredible chef Ben Marks, founder of Perilla and Morchella, who will delight you with meals that nourish both body and soul. In addition, mountain leader Henry Machin, who is well-versed in the local surroundings, will guide you on excursions, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of nature.

Join us for this transformative experience and return home feeling refreshed, inspired, and connected.

What you can expect

With a strong focus on rest, purpose, and community, this retreat is designed to dissolve layers of stress, offering you a moment to pause, reconnect, and choose your path intentionally. Our days will be gently balanced with ample downtime for relaxation, along with enriching workshops and activities meant to deepen your connection to yourself, fellow guests, and the stunning surroundings of the beautiful Arniano house and the Tuscan landscape.

Each day unfolds at a relaxed pace, offering plenty of time to unwind. You’ll be invited to join us for our thoughtfully curated therapeutic coaching workshops, covering topics such as stress reduction, life purpose, values, self-connection, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation. These workshops provide a space to slow down, reflect on your life’s direction, and explore what you need. Complementary activities like mindful hikes and a pasta-making class will further immerse you in the serene beauty of the Tuscan hills.

Additionally, the retreat includes a one-to-one session with Claudia or Stephanie during your stay and a follow-up in the weeks afterward to check in on how you are doing.

At mealtimes, we’ll gather to share locally sourced Italian cuisine prepared by Ben Marks of Perilla and Morchella, celebrating the flavours and traditions of the region together.

About Alba Community

Alba = dawn Dawn is the time of day when light first appears in the sky, just before the sun rises.

At Alba, we see dawn as the moment when the world is still, everything sleeps, and the day’s possibilities begin to unfold.  It's a time to reflect and decide who you want to be before the noise of the day begins.

We aim to recreate this unique moment—the transition between rest and action. We call it "restful action," where you pause to intentionally choose your path.

Claudia Guinness, a certified coach, and Stephanie Queen, an integrative therapist, blend their ways of working by helping you move towards your future, by letting go of the stories from your past.

About Villa Arniano

Villa Arniano is a romantic and secluded traditional stone-and-brick Tuscan farmhouse that dates back to the 18th century, located just thirty minutes from Siena. Converted by a British interior designer, the villa embodies a perfect blend of grand bohemian chic and simple Italian style, designed to be a beautiful and comfortable home.

Nestled in a rolling landscape of green-black cypresses and picturesque hilltop villages, Villa Arniano offers panoramic views across the best of rural southern Tuscany. This idyllic setting is perfect for a relaxing stay, where guests will fall in love with the villa's charm and serene surroundings.

The elegant and chic interiors feature white-washed walls and ancient, characterful stone floors, marrying Italian grandeur with unpretentious relaxedness. The casual ease that graces the house is deeply welcoming, making it cosy and comfortable.
